Who are We

Macomm Management Services Sdn Bhd or well known as Macomm by the marketing and communications industry, has been providing full trade association management services for the past 3 decades.

Then

We began as an extended division providing corporate services under Goonting & Chew, an audit company and broke away in 1980 to form Vigil Management Sdn Bhd focusing in providing management services to trade associations in Malaysia.

Now

In 1992 we became known as Macomm Management Services Sdn Bhd which saw us realigning our core business where management services were targeted at National trade associations representing the marketing communications industry. Today, Macomm is the guiding light of the advertising and media industries in Malaysia.

Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia

The 4As Malaysia, formed in 1971, is the Malaysian industry’s foremost body that represents and promotes the ‘value’ of advertising agencies in the marketing communications industry among advertisers, media, suppliers, government, and the public.

Malaysian Advertisers Association

The Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) is the single body representing the interest of advertisers in all areas of commercial communications.

Advertising Standards Malaysia

The Advertising Standards Malaysia (ASA), formed in 1977, is an independent body that ensures the adherence of the self-regulating Advertising industry to the Malaysian Code of Advertising Practice in the print, outdoor, and cinema media, while setting industry standards for advertisements that are legal, decent, honest, truthful and socially responsible .

Content Forum

The Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (Content Forum) was registered as a society under the Registrar of Societies in February 2001. Pursuant to Section 212 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA ‘98), the Content Forum is designated as the industry forum to oversee and promote self-regulation of content over the electronic networked medium.

Commercial Radio Malaysia

Commercial Radio Malaysia advocates for the highest standards in commercial radio broadcasting and professional practices, ensuring that both prevail within the industry. The association engage both the government and regulators in dialogue to identify and ensure possible issues that could affect the continued viability of commercial radio in Malaysia.

Malaysian Digital Association

The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) is a representative body that comprises online publishers, advertising agencies, creative agencies, digital consultants and service providers. Founded in 2009, MDA has been instrumental in shaping the Malaysian digital industry and committed to driving it forward with innovative initiatives.

Malaysian Newspaper Publisher Association

The MNPA, established in 1971, consists of newspaper publishers in Malaysia and functions to promote, protect, and represent the interests and welfare of the industry and its members in general. MNPA represents most mainstream newspaper publishers across Malaysia, with members from both Peninsular and East Malaysia

media Specialists Association

The Media Specialists Association was established to help media specialists directly navigate the critical issues affecting our industry. As media issues becoming more complex, it is our responsibility to regulate, monitor, and assist the local media industry as well as those who work in the industry and depend on it.

Outdoor Advertising Association of Malaysia

OAAM’s vision and mission is to build and promote a sustainable industry with high level of standards, good governance, and ethics and lead to unite a responsible outdoor advertising industry towards all stakeholders – i.e. governmental authorities, agencies, advertisers, and communities – in achieving national economic growth.
